Warranty Support

Suntech Module Warranty Claim Form
PROCEDURE
1. Installer completes thorough fault diagnosis of PV System. Refer to Suntech PV Module Troubleshooting Guidelines.
2. Installer contacts Suntech on 02 8188 2450, on site with suspected faulty module on hand to provide details.
3. Please provide the completed Warranty Claim Form, copy of original invoice and required photos (refer to Information required for Claim) to Suntech (if the online form cannot work, please send to services@suntech-power.com.au).
4. Suntech will issue a Warranty Case #, and discuss the claim with the installer. Please note that all claims are subject to review and are limited by the original warranty.
• For valid claims that are covered by Suntech’s warranty, Suntech will typically authorise a warranty replacement (same footprint with equal or higher power).
• For potentially valid claims, Suntech will instruct the installer to provide further testing on site. Suntech will usually send through a replacement module in the case where the claim might be valid after testing. Please obtain Suntech’s authority by contacting them to return and/or replace suspected faulty module before replacing module. If Installer does not obtain Suntech’s authority, then the claim can be made invalid.
5. Installer helps the customer to replace the faulty solar module on site and confirms the PV system will operate correctly.
6. If Suntech requires the faulty solar module to be returned, please contact Suntech after the replacement.
